The police through their DCI official FB communication have confirmed Killing one young man in Nairobi City, at South B near Trans Towers building where police claim the deceased was among three men who had staged a robbery on June 28 at night. Police claim they responded to a distress call and ambushed the three who were riding on a motorcycle. Police allegedly ordered the trio to surrender but instead shot at the police car deflating one tire. This provoked the officers who shot back and killed one of the suspected men. His body was taken to City morgue. Police claim they recovered a browning pistol from the deceased loaded with three rounds of ammunition.
