Area police boss Henry Wesonga was quoted by The Star newspaper as saying a group of 5 attacked police officers on patrol using crude weapons thinking they were students from Maseno University. Police officers killed two of the members in the group, while the other 3 allegedly escaped. N.B. Missing Voices has not been able to independently verify the circumstances leading to the death of the two males.
