Police have confirmed shooting dead one person on December 27,2022 in Nairobi, Makadara sub-county. Police claim the deceased and two others who escaped had engaged police in a fierce gunfire fight. A home made firearm loaded with two live rounds of 9mm calibre and a communication gadget imitating a police walkie-talkie were recovered by police. Deceased body was taken to City Mortuary.
