Police have confirmed shooting dead
Paul Muriithi Naomi alias Muruthi on August 17 in Nairobi county Ruai.
He was shot inside his house allegedly for being a leader of a criminal gang.
Police said they have been looking for him for months.
He allegedly attacked detectives from his house and did not surrender prompting police to kill him.
Police say a pistol serial number B 681256 loaded with four rounds of 9mm calibre was recovered from deceased.
The pistol was robbed a week ago from a civilian.
His body was taken to City Mortuary in Nairobi.
