Police confirmed killing four people during a protest on June 2,2022 at Masimba,Kajiado county. The four were shot dead by GSU officers who were heading to Mombasa in a police truck and stopped to unblock a road after protesters block the road. The deceased were in a group of women protesting against the killing of a local teacher by an elephant. Missing Voices has confirmed the names of the four as Stanley Ntidu Tereu, Duncan Kabari Munke, Letomir Topoika and Dennis Matheka Mutua. No arrests had been made.
