According to a police officer privy to the incident told Missing Voices in confidence confirmed that Kevin Odhiambo was shot dead by undercover police officers from DCI on September 23 in Nairobi, Mihango following a series of armed robberies in Nairobi. The deceased ís said to be hiring out a gun to commit crimes.
The deceased's girl friend whom the gunmen abducted was freed later the same day at Fedha estate.
The officer confided to Missing Voices that the man at the scene identified as "Paul Kariuki" is a police informer.
The deceased is said to have been shot 36 times.
