Police have confirmed the killing of one George Kimani, 22 in Thika Town, Kiambu county, on November 15 by police officers from Thika police station. The deceased family claim their son was innocent and was on his way home when he met his death a few meters from Thika fire station.
Police however say the deceased was armed with crude weapons. Officers claim they recovered two machetes, a homemade firearm and mobile phones suspected to have been snatched from innocent victims.
