According to both the Star newspaper and Citizen digital, the deceased was shot dead on December 6 by her husband, Meshack Kosgei. He is a police officer attached to Bamburi police station. The couple was living outside police quarters and their marriage is said to have been rocky. The deceased sustained two gunshot wounds in the thighs and one in the stomach in the presence of the couple's one year old child. Suspect arrested and arraigned.
