Police have confirmed Elvis Baya Thoya was shot dead by police constable David Mukiri F/No 95457 on December 22,2022. Thoya a Bodaboda rider was ferrying Mukiri at around 8 pm along Malindi Mombasa highway after the officer went to buy food. Mukiri was attached to Malindi airport. He shot the deceased thrice after a disagreement. The suspect, Mukiri committed suicide on December 22.
