According to Muslims for Human Rights (Muhuri) close to 20 Anti Terror Police Unit officers on July 18 abducted Abdallah Jaffer, a father of 24 children and a husband to three wives from his home. The ATPU officers claimed Jaffer was an Al-Shabaab militant. MUHURI says the officers confiscated his title deed, phone, and some cash. It is alleged the arrest took place around 9:30PM when officers removed him from the bathroom and started assaulting him while he was naked.
