The media reported that the police constable John Ogweno was found murdered from a gunshot inside his car that was parked outside Kasarani police line in Nakuru. He was attached to Nakuru East police division. It is suspected that he died following a love triangle where police corporal Caroline Kangogo is the prime suspect. County Deputy Police Commander Joseph Tonui said Ogweno might have been killed around 2:30 AM on July 5. A few days after the murder of John, Caroline is suspected to have killed Peter Ndwiga. Police officers announced a manhunt for Caroline who was evenutally found dead.
